My name is Reese Brown and I am the co-owner of Fitness By Reese. I think I have an idea of who your trainer was at the time. She has been terminated and no longer works for Fitness By Reese for some of the reasons mentioned. I can tell you that the trainer you mentioned now works for RH Fitness. When it comes to caring and getting people results, no one is more highly respected than Fitness By Reese. Compare the results on our website to those on RH Fitness. We take everyday people and perform what some refer to as miracles. Anyone can take a fit girl and add a few muscles. Feel free to check us out this fall on STYLE network on our reality TV show "RUBY". I have trained with a trainer from Fitness by Reese and one with RH Fitness. My trainer with Fitness by Reese wore a earpiece for her cell phone while she trained me and would take phone calls during our sessions! She would leave me to do my ab work on my own at the end of the session and would never get in there and work out with me. She carried her clipboard the whole time and would do the "rep count" while she checked herself out in the mirrors. My trainer with RH Fitness does not even bring her cell phone in the gym with her and has never left me during my session. She stays with me until the end and even does the ab exercises with me! She pushes me like no one has before and is more involved in the workout with me. I have kept my membership with 24 Hour but I use a trainer with RH Fitness. RH Fitness lets you train with their trainers without joining their gym. 24 Hour makes you join the gym if you want to use their trainers. The Pooler 24 hour fitness has improved since new management took over though. I could never get over the fact that gym did not have water! It was unbelievable to me. The OWNERS should have fixed that gym a long time ago. It is ultimately their responsibility--not the managers.

You have been misinformed. If you purchase a training package with Fitness By Reese you are NOT required to have a gym membership. For the rest of your comment you are correct. The improvements are long overdue. The water fountain should have been installed sooner. There was a drink machine that was provided that carried waters. The responsiblity of keeping the drink machine full was that of the manager.

This gym has been around for about 7 years. I have been a member since day one. It has always been a great gym. The staff has always been great until the previous 5-6 months. I noticed things not getting fixed and the staff was never in the gym. If you asked questions it was like you were bothering them. I could not figure out what was going on. Then the manager opened his own gym. That made things really clear as to why things were going down hill. Since the new management has come in the gym has gone back to the way it used to be. A friendly staff that is in the gym during staffing hours and always willing to help. New equipment has been brought in and new construction has been done. They are also in the process of adding an additonal 2000 square feet to this facility. Fitness by Reese is a very professional company that gets great results. They have been in business for a long time and have 100's of satisfied customers. I imagine that the unhappy person has never even tried to talk to the new trainers. I too would have to wonder where the unhappy person is getting their information.

Nobody that works here knows a single thing about fitness. I signed up here because thier previous manager was very knowlegeable, friendly & helpful for everything I had ever asked him about. Now that Fitness by Reese is in there and the only person that knew anything about fitness is gone, it SUCKS! The staff is disrespectful, does not speak to me anymore and they seem to not have a care in the world about making me happy with my membership there! I tried to cancel my membership to switch to RH Fitness - which is ran by the prior owner of this gym but they were really abrupt and short with me that I could in no way terminate my membership agreement. I am STUCK there now! I never had a personal trainer but I could tell that the old trainers cared so much more about their work than the trainers that are now working there do. Just watching them it is so obvious that they don't care about their clients and they just stand there counting and rarely smile or interact friendly with their customers. I miss the way this gym used to be! When I signed up 2 years ago I was signing up for the friendly atmosphere and staff that seemed to care. Now that the gym is NOTHING what I signed up for I am so upset that I still am being forced to pay for an entire more year!

Please contact me at 9129207734. I would be happy to cancel your membership. RH never owned this gym. The new Manager is a master fitness trainer for the US Army. Fitness By Reese is a National fitness company that has been in business for 10 years. They currently have a nation wide Fitness TV show that is being filmed in Savannah. You have been terribly misinformed by someone outside of this gym. I could not possibly image where you got your information from.
